This event was held at Frampton's Opera House, Clarion PA.
To provide context for the Teachers' Institute, a portion of the brochure is quoted here: "You are again invited to assemble together in Clarion . . . and organize yourselves into a Teachers' Institute, to be devoted to the improvement of teachers in the science and art of education. All are cordially invited to attend; but more especially the teachers of the public schools of Clarion county. . ."
