Identifier: 620 - 01 - LD1017 .C8182 A2
Scope and Contents
This collection is primarily organized by year. It contains annual printed programs (when available,) copies of faculty / staff publications, and supporting materials related to the recognition program.
For each year, (except for 2006,) the annual printed program is provided. The information on publications, research, and other scholarly activities reported in the annual program booklet is listed as reported by the individuals. The information on externally funded activities is reported from information on file in the Office of Faculty Research Development. Each year, publications and other scholarly works published during the previous calendar year are recognized. Funded activities are recognized from the current academic year to date. For each year, hard copies of recognized faculty and staff publications are included. It is important to note that publications are not, by any means, included for all of the honorees listed in the printed program. Publications are included only if they were provided to the Libraries by the recognized employee. Available publications are arranged alphabetically by author. Most publications are copies of periodical articles and book chapters. Complete monographs are listed here with a call number referring to the item’s location in the University Archives collections or other library collections. For some years, a Miscellaneous folder contains items such as citation lists and correspondence from honorees verifying their activities related to publications / presentations / grants / abstracts / performances, etc. Most of these items were consulted in the compilation of the annual printed program. In the early years of the recognition program, several honorees were invited to present on a research topic. Abstracts from some of these presentations are included in this folder, (as well as being printed in the annual program.)
